The problem is there are also 8 others none under the age of 21 and there is a trustee. How do we get our share with this trustee in place. I think a trustee was appointed for the grandneices as they were under 18 when will was made. I am now being told that the trustee is reinvesting themoney and willnot release it for a long time

Trustees are appointed to follow the instructions of the deceased .
If you are named , you should be able to actually view the will and see the instructions.

It all comes down to what was outlined in the trust agreement that your aunt signed. If you think the trustee is acting against the agreement, you should start by talking to an estate attorney.

I would suggest you get a copy of the will. Take it to a lawyer and have him interpret it for you to see if the trustee is operating within the parameters set in the will.
