Pre-trial = before trial.

Hearings continued = postponed
Case continued = case continues

Dispo/reset = Disposition (outcome) or resetting the status

Defendant ordered to appear = defendant must appear

Trial date vacated = ignore the old trial date.

Set last day for trial = the trial will happen on or before that date, and the defendant cannot complain if the trial happens within 60 days after that date if it's postponed again.

They moved the trial date to 11/02/07 @8:30 in department R5. You are ordered to be there. I don't know what "TIME TO 11/02/2007 PLUS 60 DAYS" means.

You should get a plain answer from your lawyer or by calling the clerk of court for the court involved.

It seems to say a pretrial hearing is scheduled at which the defendant must appear. thats 8:30 am on 2nd of november 2007. The actual trial date has been abandoned (vacated) and the defendant has agreed to a trial date within 60 days of the 2nd of November 2007.

The legal type dudes and dudettes got together with the dude wearing the black robe to see what was shaking and how long they were going to take when they actually got down to biz and to see if anyone thought the other side was going to try something sneaky.

When the legal type dudes and dudettes get together with the dude wearing the black robe, for whatever reason.

The legal type dudes and dudettes together with the dude wearing the black robe decided to chill until Nov 2, 2007 when they will jam again at 8:30 am in someplace identified as Department R5.

Your *** is toast if you are not there.

The legal type dudes and dudettes together with the dude wearing the black robe decided that they were not ready to go for the final date to decide the whole shooting match, so they cancelled it and will try to figure out when the final showdown will be held at some other time.

It means you and your attorney better be in court on the hearing date...11/02/2007.

It also means you waived your right to a speedy trial by 60 days. Sounds to me that you were in court to do that.
