The rumours around the league have been Tampa Bay, the two teams were close to a deal in August and again a couple of weeks ago. The hold-up in August was the impending ownership change and the hold-up a couple of weeks ago was what Anaheim wanted in return (2nd round draft choice and Blair Jones) and what Tampa wants to give up (Paul Ranger and a couple of mid-round draft picks)

All the "experts" have said that Bryz will be traded to the Lightning, but I disagree. Holmqvist has played on another level this year (with the exception of our 6-4 loss to the Panthers) Marc Denis hasn't even started a game yet! I really don't see Bryz coming to Tampa.
If anything, I dont see him being traded (believe it or not) At least not for a while (like a goalie goes down with a major injury).......

I could see Bryz moving to Pitt but it just doesn't make sense to me.
J.S. Giguiere aint exactly the youngest guy in the world anymore and he hasn't been healthy for seasons on end at a time. I think they keep him. You can never have too much goaltending ya know!

He'll be traded to the Lightning, possibly for Holmqvist and some prospects

They mentioned the Pens on one broadcast I was watching tonight HOWEVER, it would seem the Thrashers now need a starting goaltender. I expect Esche to sign somewhere soon as well (Atl?).
