Hey, I know exactly what you are talking about. I'm not going to waste my time telling you BATHE and crap becuzI know you BATHE thoroughly because if you notice your odor..then I know your tryingg EVERYTHING to make you not stink!
I had the same problem! My mother kept telling me to SPRAY PERFUME..and gave me all kinds of sweet lotions to try and cover it up. She would tell me to SCRUB my armpits out..and no matter how hard and long..still not change! But those things made me sweat AND stink more..
It didn't work becuase it's basically trying to COVER up odor instead of eliminating it! Kind of like spraying air freshner in a stinky room. it stays for awhile, but once the freshner fades, the odor is still there!
I was searching FAR and wide for a deodarant that could CURE THIS and FINALLY I found one.
I saw it in wal-greens..it was called CERTAIN DRY. Essentially what it does is PREVENTS you from sweating. It literally BLOCKS you're armpits pores! It worked SO well!! I did not STINK anymore..and I can wear any perfume and lotion and not worry about how bad I'm going to start smelling when it mixes with my sweat!
I'm telling you..this is THE CURE!! In wal-greens, they have a generice wal-geens brand called EXTRA DRY..which works just as well..ands its cheaper too! Basicaly does the SAME thing! Certain-Dri gave me a little rash because of the strength, but the walgreens brand didn't.
Even if they're were no other generic brands..I'd rather have a little rash than to smell bad!! But luckily, walgreens had the generic brand!
I use it like a normal deodarant by applying it everytime I shower! The instructions say use it several times a week but, I use it my way and it works great for me..and I think its better my way too!
No sweating=no stinking!
You don't need extra perfume, No EXTRA scrubbing..
You need odor ELIMINATION..
Try it and tell me how its working! I know you'll be so happy..cuz i am so happy now!

If you have such serious body odor and you are bathing often and using deodorant, you should see a doctor. Sometimes the odor can be caused by thyroid or hormonal problems or certain medicines that people take or certain foods or spices. I believe an endocrinologist can help you. Never mind any negative comments on yahoo. See your doc, because help is available and if one doctor doesn't help you, get a second and a third opinion.

If it bothers you that much you can get botox in the underarm area to stop or decrease the sweating. It is not a permatent solution and has to be redone about 2-3 times a yr. but does work!

Try bringing a wet towlette and use it in the bathroom. They are portable and you dont need to wet it. Dove makes it and ur should smell fine afterwards. It's like takin a shower without water. If you still smell bad, try some body spray from bath n body work

1] wash pits, parts, and feet with antibacterial soap - can use body wash for rest
2] dry thoroughly [ brush teeth after or something
3] apply antiperspirant to dry pits - Certain Dri is available for about $6.00, at CVS, etc. May also apply a dabto other 'sweaty' places. like under bra band, esp in summer.
4] clean shirt every day, clean underwear as well

I had that same problem when I was younger. I tried colognes, perfumes, deodorants, everything...My Mom went out and found this deodorant called Mitchum. It really works good. I've been using it for years.

Try a strong purfume on your neck, clothes, and wrist (but not too much), and then if you want it to last longer, spray some on your hairbrush and brush it through your hair.
Good luck.
