name of a playstation game? i cant remember it!!?

There was this playstation game a few years ago...maybe five or six years ago, and i cant remember the name of it! it was this game where you used the play station kind of like a studio and could make your own songs and beats and stuff...and i cant remember the name of it! anyone know what it was called?

i know for sure it wasnt guitar hero...you actually MADE the music, and you could record your own songs and stuff....and your right, guitar hero isnt that old
