the whiskers on one of my rats have turned white and have become more coarse. thiis is only on one side of his face and his brother is fine. he has not been near any heat source so they have not been singed. any ideas?

That's a good question. It could be premature aging.

i have rat andit did that about to mouth ago so i took to a pet store i trust and they said it was just a sign of growth

trade it in for a mouse. at least they'll let you give them a whisker trim.
