Female. Currently no partner. I masturbate when I feel like doing it and if I can find an appropriate private place when not at home. I'd guess that over the past 4 weeks it's averaged out around 4 to 5 times each week.

34 year old male here. Around the years 15-18, I would masturbate anywhere from 1-4 times a day (the third and forth time would produce mild throbbing pain in the penis itself). At 19 I gained a significant amount of weight, and my masturbation rate dropped dramatically (due to negative self image). At 30 I lost the weight, got in shape, and massed up with muscle, but as we age, sex hormones drop. So, even though I have a positive self image of myself, I masturbate only 1-2 times a week now. My sex rate is about the same with a steady g/f / b/f, but increases if I'm serial dating.

The amount I masturbate depends on the amount of sex I get. I typically need one or the other around five times a week. If we have sex four times a week, I'll most likely masturbate once. If we have sex two times a week, I'll probably masturbate three times. Self-explanatory.

It really depends on how I'm feeling...
I'm not going to lie, sometimes I am way to lazy to put that much physical effort into it, lol! Other days will be just be so bad, and yeah, I'll do the nasty. If I'm in a depressed kind of mood, I won't. The amount changes, since how I'm feeling constantly changes. I couldn't give a "x amount per week".
But I will tell you it's a lot less often than it used to be.

Oh get real.... Girls do it more, I have sisters, girlfriends and casual friends all have told me that since girls can do it and not make a mess like boys, they do it as often and more. Boys have to be a little more careful and prepared, and in general, it takes boys a little longer to complete it. Girls are not little clean angels, they are just as horny and need it just as bad. Used to be in the morning and at night, and sometimes more.
Being out of the closet my sexuality seems to be normalizing, and I don't seem to be quite as horny anymore, so I am doing it less now.
Does that make sense?
Like sexual repression made me hornier, but now that my sexual energy is being channeled the right way, I feel a peace.
