I mean I understand the United states is a very ethical country and wouldn’t use the weapons unless it was really necessary for the safety of the American people. but I would think most countries think we are hypocrites because we have the largest stockpile of nukes and chemical weapons in the world. behind Russia. I guess they feel for them to keep there sovereignty and protection they need these weapons.

Nukes are now obsolete! The only reason to make any more is to poison the land and air of the people it lands upon and cause the people to suffer horribly.

We can blow away entire nations, without Nuclear weapons, we have MOABs. 22,000lb conventional smart bombs with nuke blast power but NO radiation. Of course anyone that wished to surrender before the blast would be allowed to do so. Leaflets dropped before the blast could tell those that wished to surrender where and how go about it.

M…..Mother
O…..of
A…..all
B…..bombs

WE have Tomahawks with fuel-air explosive war heads. The big Tomahawks can carry 10 war heads. They can burn entire cities with fuel-air explosive.

First the MOAB, when the shock wave clears, in comes the Tomahawk. The entire city is flattened and then burned with fuel-air explosive. The fuel-air explosive burns everything left and it burns off all the oxygen. There is no way to survive!

We could land our troops 30 minutes later and own the entire nation. There wouldn’t even be anyone left to shoot at our soldiers. The only thing that would be left are giant smoking holes in the sand. Maybe then the other nations would say “ What ever you do don’t piss off the Americans! They can blow away our whole nation with the push of a button.

Why do you think the US is ethical they were the first and only country to use nukes against a civilian population. There are some who feel that the only reason that they were used against Japan was that they weren't white like the Germans and some feel that an invasion of the Japanese homeland would have been very costly in lives on both sides. Me I personally believe that the truth is somewhere in the middle.

The US government doesn't want countries that aren't on the approved list to have them. When Russia and China set off their nukes we were just heading into the cold war, and the US couldn't do anything about it.

Britain and France were/are on our side so they are OK. Israel and South Africa are thought to have the bomb BUT they won't admit to it. Pakistan and India how the heck did they get the bomb I know that India used Canadian tech because Canada pulled the plug on the sale of Candu reactor sales to India.

What it boils down to if everyone has the bomb then the US isn't special any more

Simple Answer:

Korea Nut for Leader
Iran Nut for Leader
Cuba Nut for Leader
Russia Nut for Leader

We are concerned other Nuke nations might not have as many fail safe methods in place to prevent an accidental launch of one Nuke.

Not sure of the animated movie which aired 30 years ago. It was a portrayal of the world after the Nuclear Holocaust. Quite interesting

Though nonproliferation is a worthy goal, the U.S. doesn't disallow the possession of nukes by other nations that have free societies.
Most of the nations currently pursuing nuclear weapons want them for the sole reason that they want to keep their populations enslaved to their TYRANNICAL leaders.
They know if they have nukes, it will be difficult for the U.S. to assist the citizens of those nations in their fights against tyranny. It assures their Dictators will remain in total control forever, to the detriment of all humanity.

Why does the schoolyard bully want to be the only one on the playground with a gun?
The U.S.A. is no more ethical than any other country that wants nuclear weapons. There's no assurance that one day e might elect some 'loose cannon' nutjob who is chomping at the bit to push the 'red button' and blow up the world. Bush might be the one! -RKO- 10/20/07

curiously, you could not call 4 the two, yet you could bypass on a protracted diatribe against the militia. i don't have faith we've bombed 4 international locations interior the final 2 weeks, regardless of the actuality that this is lifelike to have faith that we've used explosive munitions in the two Afghanistan or Iraq. in a roundabout way i don't see procedures to equate protecting our interests to imperialism.

Because the US is the only superpower in the world. It also leads to imperialistic behavior, which we are guilty of with Bush, unfortunately.

I don't recall any recent protests (or any past ones either) where thousands of Americans shouted "DEATH TO IRAN!" similar to the almost daily protests in Iran calling for the destruction of America.
