When I look at the Welsh I just see other people like me. I'm English, you are Welsh, the Scots are Scots, French are French. But at the end of the day they are just people.

I heared that there MAY BE some welsh people that MAY have a problem with the English from many hundreds of years back. But what MAY of happened back then was between individuals, plus individuals from the present should not be held for what happened from individuals from the past. As most individuals from the present have probably done nothing to hurt anyone.

But the Welsh are good, hard working people.

Very nice People, very friendly when they come to Dublin for the Rugby Matches. They have a natural Affinity with Irish People the same as the Scots. I think of Welsh People as Mostly Sheep Farmers and Miners although Maggie Thatcher got rid of The Mines and tried to get rid of the Farmers as well. They are Fiercely Proud of being Welsh and of their Traditions and their History in short they are a lovely People and Great Natural Singers. Tom Jones, Catherine Jenkins, I heard Her Sing on Emmerdale Recently and she is Beautiful and has a great Voice, and there is of course Alled Jones as well.

I spent several months living and working in South Wales just after I joined the police service. I have never been amongst a friendlier group of people, before or after that time. They taught me some Welsh, tried to teach me how to sing and gave up trying to teach me how to drink without falling over.

I wish people here in Sussex could be as welcoming and friendly sometimes as the Welsh and New Zealanders.

It must be something to do with rugby, sheep and mountains!!

Actually I've met several Welsh people. You are nicer than the English, quieter than the Irish, and very enthusiastic, intelligent, and independant people. You have great humor and your use of the Welsh language even in the modern world shows pride in your nationality and a comminality between your people. I love the Welsh!

I have no problem with the Welsh as they come to Scotland every couple of years and take over my village, Always good natured, civil and warm. The locals look forward to their visit for the Rugby, Win, Lose or Draw. Local pubs and clubs delighted with the Welsh people's courteous and friendly manner.

What a brave question. As an archetypical Englishman I'd say that, on the whole I like and respect the Welsh. But what I don't like is the nationalist, Welsh language nonsense. Preservation of an, effectively, dead language is a fine idea, but to impose it on the whole country is daft.

I think dark hair, blue eyes, great personality. This goes for either a man or woman. I'd like to date a Welsh woman. I have the idea in my head that she would be both beautiful and fun.

My father is welsh and I could listen to the accent all day :D And boy do they ever have a light hearted sense of humour (that's been my experience anyway) and just all around jolly people!

Here's to The Land Of My Fathers!
