How does a dam save nature? We only save that which we find useful. Deer and other game animals and whatever land they need are constantly protected, everything else is a fight. But on the bright side, nearly every country has set aside some area as a park or preserve. Now the problem is, how to keep us out of there totally. That would be the best way to save anything natural.

if this is a homework question and from a book, put none of this in your homework. Humans have not saved nature or hurt it. humans, as we are, are too minuscule and insignificant to do anything that would have an impact on Earth. The only thing that we have done to help is probably saving a few animals from extinction, but even that does not have much of an effect on nature.

Christina, What about recycling? Taking animals out of their habitat and putting them in a different one, clean up ditches along highways, cleaning up lakes and streams, emitting less toxic gases in factories with smokestacks, cars and motor vehicles just to name a few. Hope this helps.

Started to try and go "green"?

I mean, yeah we haven't done many good things, but we're not evil humans like the media makes us out to be.
