A "true wrestling fan" is one who enjoys the "sport" for what it is (generally highly-skilled and -trained athletes performing usually well-choreographed {whether pre-planned or improvised} wrestling sequences), one who is willing to suspend his/her disbelief and just enjoy the spectacle, cheering his/her favorites and booing the not-so-favorites. A "true wrestling fan" does not scour the "gossip and spoilers" websites and post that crap here--the "insider information" is generally false and the "true fans" don't want any show ruined whether or not any of the information actually proves to be true. "True wrestling fans" actually WATCH wrestling, not read about it on some "spoiler" website.

A "true wrestling fan", to quote Gorilla Monsoon, "knows the difference between a wrist-watch and a wrist-lock". A "true wrestling fan" knows who Gorilla Monsoon IS (and no, he wasn't just some announcer a while back).

A "true wrestling fan" doesn't trash one wrestling company over another; a "true fan" enjoys all wrestling companies for what they offer--and each offers something a little different from the others.

A "true wrestling fan" celebrates when the hated heel loses a wrestling match; a "true wrestling fan" does NOT celebrate when any wrestler is put out of action with a serious legitimate injury.

A "true wrestling fan" knows some history about most, if not all, of the wrestlers he/she watches on TV, and does some research on those wrestlers they don't know. A "true wrestling fan" is not a "walking encyclopedia" of wrestling history, but they can talk at length about wrestling without once uttering the phrase "cena sux" or variations thereof.

A "true wrestling fan" knows that, although it is the largest wrestling company, the WWE is not the only wrestling company, nor should it be.

Wow-now that is a great question! I consider myself to be a true wrestling fan. A true wrestling fan has respect for all wrestlers, they may not like some of them, but should respect them. A true wrestling fan does more then watch wrestling, they read about it, study the wrestlers, I myself do research on wrestlers, like where they came from and such. I defend them when someone says they suck, no wrestlers suck, some are just better then others. A true wrestling fan does not disrespect any of them. Being a true wrestling fan does not mean buying all the DVDs and all the merchandise, it is by supporting wrestling that makes you a true fan.

A true wrestling fan is
Somebody who will stand up for their sport
Somebody who likes or dislikes wrestlers because of their overall performance not just their looks or popularity
Somebody who would rather watch wrestling than another show.
Somebody who knows at least some modicum of wrestling history

- A True Wrestling Fan is a fan that don't just sitt around in matches. They GET into the matches and they support their favorite superstar all the way.

- IS not a John Cena Fan. Every true wrestling fan the only reason Cena is getting his props is because of horny little girls and kids. Not because of his talents which he have but he doesn't show for unkown reason.

* So if you look at these current years in every arena there's always few wrestling fans. But some are just hiding their because whats to cheer in whats the WWE is doing now anyway? But the real wrestling fans are in the WWF Attitude Era also in the nWo Era of WCW.
