I'm thirteen years old, I'm planning on buying my own clothes. My mom is the only one that works, since my dad is in the hospital. She doesn't get paid that well. She works at a store as a cashier. I don't wanna make her buy me stuff, since that would make me feel bad aswell since she's already getting me UGG boots. I need the money for my jacket (which is 100 dollars) and my curling iron (another 100 dollars). But, if you guys know any curling irons that are ceramic and less than 100, do tell. But other than that, I need a way to find some cash. Should I work at the store for 5 dollars an our sat-sun? She also has to pay for my sidekick plan (20 dollars a month). And yeah.. soo.. suggestions?

babysitting
babysit a lot
once you are 14 you can get a job almost anywhere. i mean like, grocery stores and restaurants and stuff. but until then, find a good babysitting job. (REMINDER: never post anything online when looking for a babysitting job, instead put posters up at a local grocerystore, if you live in a small town. otherwise ask your mom if she knows anyone who needs a babysitter. its the best way) Good Luck!!

Uh, if your dad is in the hospital and your family is struggling, you sure don't need UGG boots and a hundred dollar curling iron - doesn't have to be ceramic, you know.

And actually, awful as this sounds, she doesn't "have to" pay for your sidekick plan either - people do survive without them.

Have you tried something like babysitting. You're a little bit young, but might find someone for that. Other than that, you are a little young to find a job.

well, it might be helpful for you to tone down your clothing style. Do you really need a jacket that costs as much as a weeks worth of groceries? And does a curling iron cost that much?? And Ugg Boots, well, are so impracticle.

Being 13, you're not going to find a job at a store - you're too young. I suggest you find a job helping to clean houses for the elderly, doing yard work, taking out the trash, raking leaves, babysitting, etc.

Be respectful of the fact that your mum is struggling to keep your family alive and you're not helping by demanding so many expensive things. Keep things in perspective for now, ok?

First of all, you're amazing for not wanting your mom to buy you stuff. That's very kind of you. and I hope your dad gets better.
Now. As long as you're 13, you can fill out forms online for money. I make about 800 bucks a month from doing it. It doesn't require any fees or anything.
There's a link in my profile to the top paying sites that I use.
Good luck to you!
