Heck No! Don't move into the 1 bedroom! Starbucks pays poorly and expects way too much and the people that you work with are generally b-tchy because they don't make the kind of money they should be making and the drama makes you sick.
Not to mention the bratty kids hanging out, the snobs, the wanna be Britney Spears, The Metro Man who claims his drink was not made with skim milk and he wants his money back. Oh let's not forget the managers Eee Gads!
No thanks my time is more vaulable than $7 bucks an hour plus about $10 bucks in tips.

I have a 2nd job also. I say go for it, if you think you can do it and you won't mind it, I don't think it would be too hard & seems like it may be fun. Who knows! If you don't like it you can always find another place. In the end, work is work! I work in an office and my 2nd job is in a pizza place. Its ok, sometimes its fun, but mainly work is work! Good luck.

My wife worked there for awhile for fun. She doesn't have to work but to occupy her time when I was at the hospital, she would work at Starbucks. It is a great company to work for, very flexible with your schedule. Also, it is a great work environment and the customers are usually enjoyable. Plus you are a shoe-in, you already have coffee background :-)
Hope that helps!

If you can handle the hours go for it. Jumping from 1 job to another can be a little stressing though.

I think it would be fun. There's no reason not to try it, right? Their big season is coming up, and they're going to need lots of help. Go for it!
