Please, help with little advice, me and my BF are planning to visit Santa Barbara, CA tomorrow (Sunday, Oct, 21). We are planning to spend there all day. I have never been there (moved to CA 1.5 ago) so I want to visit this city and spend a day with pleasure and have a lot of things to remember in the end:) Please, advice me, what are the most interesting places to visit and cool things to do there. Thanks a lot to everybody. )Trying to make a little Tour-guiding list for ourselves :))

We go there all the time. I love to park near the pier and take the trolly to the top of State St. and walk down looking at all the shops and taking in the atmosphere. When we go we always eat at Longboards on the pier. They have a great bloody mary and very casual food. Then we walk the pier and do the trolly. I have kids so we also like to go to the zoo. It's a great zoo even if you don't have kids. Have fun. The weather should be great!

The mission is historical and beautiful, with a great view from the front lawn. The old city hall is also quite interesting, not sure if it's open for tourists on Sunday. Downtown is great for walking.

well you've got to walk up state street, it's the main street with all the shops and restaurants, go out on the peir, rent one of the bike thingy's. there's a really small but nice zoo there that's pretty cool.

I believe that there is a huge mission, there.

Stearn's wharf is an interesting walk with shopping and dining.

Downtown buildings are quite historic and interesting.
