Had unprotected sex with my husband (not on birth control right now) 6 weeks ago. Missed my period which should have started 3 weeks ago. 2 weeks ago started bleeding dark brown, and now have been bleeding bright red with a few clots for a week. Took preg. test last night and came back positive. This will be my 2nd pregnancy and I bled with my first for the first couple of wks, but not heavy as I remember and have a healthy 3 yr old girl now. I have breast tenderness, am seriously bloated (looks like I am 12 months preg.), tired and somewhat nauseus, but not as much as my first pregnancy. Have cramps like when I was in labor in my lower back and sides...could i be miscarrying? I don't want to have to go the er this weekend, but can't call my gyno until Monday, and was just wondering if the pregnancy test would still show up bright positive if I am going thru a miscarriage? Any advice would be helpful...

Bleeding and a positive pregnancy test. YES you could be having a miscarriage. Home preg test will show positive during and a little while after a miscarriage. It takes a while for the HCG level to drop.

please see a doctor. yes a pregnancy test would show up as positive even AFTER a miscarriage because your body still has the hormones in it. why would you wait like this? I don't understand?

no it could still say pustitive. if you are really that worried you NEED to go to the er. Godd LUck!
