Menopause: The Signs and Symptoms
Some common menopausal symptoms include;
Hot flushes, Night Sweats
Mood swings
Breast tenderness
Bloatedness and weight gain
Migraines, Anxiety
Difficulty with sleeping
Mild to severe depression
Low sex drive
Dryness in the vagina
Pain during intercourse
Then there are the symptoms not listed here like:
Itchy skin that just about makes you want to tear your skin to pieces.
The feeling of "crawling skin", that will drive you nuts too.
Irregular bleeding that keeps you on your toes wondering when it will happen next and for how long.
Forgetfulness, no it's not Alzheimer's.
Unwanted hair that just keeps appearing.
I could go on but I won't, it's just too damned depressing. :-)
It's no wonder some of us going through menopause become moody and depressed.
I'm told it will all be over sooner or later, it can't be over soon enough for me.
"daisymae" is right, menopause is definitely not for wimps.

Night sweats, fatigue, irritability because of lack of sleep and hot flushes or hot flashes. These are miserable because one minute your body is normal and the next 3-5 minutes you are drenched in sweat. The average women is post-menopausal by age 51 or 52. Estrogen helps alleviate these symptoms if you don't want to go through it cold turkey like I did.
Menopause is not for wimps.

Symptoms can varie. Hot flashes are common. A bit of absent mindedness. Changes in the skin. Weight gain. Goggle it and you should be able to get more info. Menopause is a normal, natural change for a woman. Nothing to worry about.
And men you have no clue so hush now.

First you have to spell the word symptoms correct. You can go on web MD.com and really take an overall look at what menopause is.If that does not help, go to menopause.com and start reading and printing, or bookmarking on your computer for easy access to the sights, then go to the doctor. I hope this helps you out.
