San antonio is 4 to 6 hours from DFW depending on how you drive.

Why not stay in the DFW area? We have 2 very fine zoos (Ft Worth is better in my opinion but I am prejudiced, my husband worked there for 25 years ), Many museums, Dallas and Ft Worth have botanical gardens, The State Fair is going on now in Dallas and the Stock Show will be going on shortly in Ft Worth;

Watch Channels 4, 5, 8, and 11 (and their sister stations); they have 'things to do in the area' listed daily. Also both the Dallas paper and the Ft Worth Star Telegram list things to do, daily and in the weekly 'travel' section.

If you want to 'get away', go to one of the local hotels - we have many fine ones - and to a play.

If you want a bit of a farther drive, you can go to Fossil Rim, or to the Arbuckle mountains, just north of the border in OK. Or you can go to one of the casinos either in OK or LA.

Have fun! and good luck with the baby!

i think of in case you're in seek of for a spouse with morals you need to first open your strategies to the certainty that there are a number of many women folk that wide-unfold bars and nightclubs that don't sleep around and get inebriated each and every weekend. having stated that, church is for believers of that faith, you're able to discover you have in simple terms as many problems with a non secular spouse as one that dances the night away in a bar. Why no longer attempt specializing in a pastime you like and connect a club linked with that pastime.......then you definately could meet a woman who has the comparable hobbies as you......that's a start up. Or the well being club, or the library etc....there are a number of beginning factors no longer in simple terms the two severe examples you have given. Be open to innovations. you know what they say: “the place the student is keen; the instructor will seem”

Depending on your tastes, Las Colinas and the statues of The Mustangs are neat. Ft. Worth has three great art museums within fair walking distance and it isn't hard to drive and park either and three more cowboy and science museums are a couple of blocks west. The zoo and botanical gardens are a short drive down University from the museum complex. Ft. Worth has a quite rejuvenated downtown within easy walking distance. I think the Ft. Worth Water Garden near the edge of town is fantastic.

The Alamo? Somewhere around there is a very nice bed and breakfast, but I'm sure there are several in the area. The Alamo is historical, and then there are the lovely river walks, which is good exercise for a pregnant woman, but not overly strenuous. When you are tired, you can sit down and people watch. Also, the market there is a lot of fun.

Come to Granbury! It is a lovely town with a great historical district. There are two theaters on the square. my hubby performs at Granbury Live. Their current show is titled Class of 57. It is a blast.

San Antonio. Look it up on the internet. Be sure to take her on a moonlight carriage tour of Old San Antonio (very romantic). Eat at Mi Tierra or Casa Rio, and shop at the Mercado (Market Square).
