Through the first half of the season, the Dallas Cowboys have clearly been the best team in the NFC.
The second half has a tendancy to alter your perception. Barring injury or a total collapse, the Cowboys should get the top seed in the NFC playoffs or at least a first round bye.

I don't love or hate, I kinda like the cowboys. The best team in the NFC is bewteen the cowboys and the packers. The redskins could be in the mix by the end of the year if Campbell keeps improving. I am rooting for farve and the packers, since everyone said he was done and should have retired 2 years ago.

I'd say right now they have a good argument as the best in the NFC. Ask again at the end of the year though, let's see if some team is a surprise or something.
For those talking up Green Bay, they have no running game so they aren't as complete.

I despise the huge apple Giants the main; fantastically considering the fact that 2007 while the contention particularly began to get interesting lower back. besides the certainty that a contemporary national ballot of Cowboys followers stated Dallas followers hate the Eagles the main. As for the Redskins; traditionally they're the Cowboys' best rival. yet they only are not getting decrease than my dermis like the Giants and Eagles.

its hard to say if the cowboys are the best. i think they are a good team but it is still early in the season and remains to be seen who will be the best. there are alot of injuries on teams early this year and as teams like chicago and the eagles and a few more in the nfc get healthy we should see some teams start to win more games and the nfc become more competitive.

Why is it sad that the Cowboys are the best team in the NFC? They have an amazing offense, hung with the Pats until the 4th qtr, and TO has finally emerged as a leader. With the Bears and Saints dropping off, why wouldn't the Boys be #1? They were the 3rd best team last year.
And no way the Giants keep it up. Look for them to choke at the end of the season as usual.

They will be the team to beat. They have the same 5-1 record as Green Bay. The two meet 11/29 in Dallas. Should be a good game. The Giants have already lost to Dallas once, they get another chance in the Meadowlands.

A team that gives up 48 points the week before is the best team in the NFC!!!!! Yeah right!!!. Don't think so dude. A good team does not give up 48 points !!!!!!!!!!!!! PERIOD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Get real if you think this is the best in the NFC !!!!!! Best team in the NFC right now is Green Bay hands down. This is coming from an unbiased opinion because I don't like either one of these teams. Unfortunately My Team the Rams suck this year so now I'm just watching to see if anybody in the NFC can step up and so far only Green Bay seems to be doing it.

If I could give an unbiased opinion, the Cowboys probably would rank atop the NFC.
Unfortunately, any team with TO on its roster can't get that kind of respect from me, so with my bias included, I'm having a tough time choosing between Green Bay and Seattle, although current records would support Green Bay.

True, but they're still only the 5th best team in the NFL. Tells ya a lot about the pitiful NFC.
