I recently had endometriosis burned out and my doctor said I shouldn't have anymore problems. However, my husband talked to a lady who has friends who have had it burned out only for it to come back.

I don't know the medical term. The doctor just said " I burned it", lol. No medical terminology at all. Your information is helpful though.

Cauterize

YEP, that's what he did!

Well Chani, I never had a pill suggested to me. I had one big surgery where the doctor discovered I had endometriosis and then while I was still under, burned it. No one has ever suggested any pill to me.

I am assuming you mean cauterizing when you say "burned out".

I had endometriosis for 25 years. Through the years I had cauterization's, 3 d and C's, a partial hysterectomy and a complete hysterectomy.

None of the above procedures except the final one resolved the endometriosis. As long as you have periods you will continue to develop adhesion's that cause the pain and contribute to the cramps.

Good Luck. It is a painful and challenging disease.

Yep. That's the point of being on a continuous pill.
