Hear, hear. I'm South African, and I thought that England gave us a brilliant game. They pinned us back the whole match, and they thoroughly deserved their place in the final. Commiserations!

I think RSA were very lucky. The Poms were all over them. But the key Africans stepped up to bat at the right moments. Montgomery and Matfield were massive as was the little half back - how good is he?
Well done to both teams, England can be proud of their performance - showed the world that you can score tries !
I don't think anyone will be giving the match officials three cheers - the standard of refereeing must improve before 2011.

OK we came second, but it was a great effort, who would have thought we`d be in the final, well done England the boys can hold their heads high. As for the imbecile who keeps cropping up on various answers under the name of caaaaa bla bla get a life and I`d love to have seen his face when I was living in SA and the Lions beat you 23 games to 1.Win some lose some..

Is it a boy or girl I dont know .......... but they should at least realise that being a White south Africans nothin to be proud of , so I guess they need to grab whatever comes to em now their a Minority with no power .

They should be given a great welcome home. Absolutely a top notch performance from the boys in white and it's a great shame that the footie wussies can't show the same amount of patriotism.

um to the south african guy show some sportsmanship england would have not have bragged and gloated like u sa have. anyways this is the last cup u will get for a while since ur team has to stop being racist and let some black native in your team. at least some of the sa are in agree that it was a good game
england did brilliantly to say that they started of under the radar. pity we had to play the roughest and least sportmanship teams in the rwc and percy should become and actor coz he is such a drama QUEEN.
