I generally oppose govt -- but if we're going to have one, it should first be required to follow it's own rules -- and that (in the US) means following the Constitution.

Our government is a constitutional government and the federal income tax is constitutional (16th Amendment). The Federal Reserve was created to disipate the effects of financial panics, like those that occurred in the 19th century.

Ron Paul should actually read the Constitution and the federal laws that he rants about. If Ron Paul does get elected, he does not have the authority to abolish the federal income tax.

How did Ron Paul, and his few supporters, ever pass US government in high school?

I'm for less government.. i.e. constitutional government, what our founding fathers intended..
