when someone is nice to me or does something nice I think they are doing it because they hate me. or some other reason behind than just being nice.

hardly anybody treats me nice..but i try my best to treat people with kindness.

Because of negative past experiences and naturally you are cautious and skeptical when someone does something nice for you unexpectedly. That's perfectly normal but just remember there are people who care about you and you are a blessing to them, indeed!

Because sometimes they are. Not to make you paranoid or anything, but some people are all sweet and nice to your face and evil and vindictive behind your back.

Of course; there is no such thing as altruism - however, it doesn't mean that their reasons for doing something nice have to be negative for you.

people are suspicious its human nature, be sure to let people know you are appreciative, do kind things in return and you will have a better self worth/ self image. You'll feel better.
