Apparently people are actually studying this, and it means that you're a very peaceable person. Isn't that weird?! From the source below:

"The length of a man's fingers can reveal how physically aggressive he is, Canadian scientists have said.

The shorter the index finger is compared to the ring finger, the more boisterous he will be, University of Alberta researchers said. "

Okay, now. How many of you people who answered this question -- and the many numerous people who only read it and the answers given -- LOOKED AT THEIR OWN FINGERS to check the lengths of their own ring and index fingers (and any of the other ones) ?!? (I am raising my hand here. Ha!)

It puts me in mind of the question that asks, "Did you know that the second sign of going crazy is having hair on your nuckles?" And the next statement is, "The FIRST sign of going crazy is looking to see if you have hair on your nuckles!"

See, you looked then, too, didn't you? (Old joke. Sorry.)

I was very intrigued by the actual answers given for this question. I, too, was unaware that studies were made on lengths of fingers... !!

It just means that you have a recessive genetic trait, like a widow's peak or an attached earlobe. Odds are good that you won't pass it on to your children, unless you happen to find a partner with the same trait.

It means you are more likely to be good in humanities, less so in math and science. Really. It has something to do with prenatal hormones.
