There are many different Monopoly editions...the classic Monopoly (and its theme based variants, i.e. Star Wars, NFL, Dogs), Monopoly Here and Now, Monopoly Mega Edition, and others...which one is your favorite?

I'm looking to buy one, and I think I might go with Monopoly Here and Now. And I think the electronic versions are stupid - it's not as much fun without the paper money.

I prefer the classic edition, but that's just me. Add-ons are available that make it even more challenging. The stock exchange add-on is available from time to time on ebay and there is a Super Add Ons version that has a board that fits inside the original and has more properties. The Mega edition is also a lot of fun. It has all the classic properties with another property added to each color group. The speed die and bus tickets add a twist to the game and make a great deviation from the original.
The Here and Now edition can't use the add-ons so it's limited to the original rules. As no one seems to use cash any more, the electronic banking version is more up to date, but I just prefer the classic properties.

The Simpsons, Nintendo, Pixar, Here and Now and Original versions of Monopoly are pretty cool.

i think the here and now version is so much better than the other versions because ther is more money like the $100 is $1000000 and you just add 4 zeros to every amount. its a lot of fun!!!!

I actually enjoyed playing the Australian Here-and-Now electronic addition. There is a nice blend of well-known places and the lesser-known. My only critique of the game is that neither the Sydney Harbour Bridge or the Sydney Opera House are on there - and they are some of the most well known places in the country!

This one: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/game/3065. However it's only available in Germany and England. All the other versions play exactly alike.
