A wife and husband should always treat each other nicely, there is no need for any false pride in marriage.

This is not true in my experience in two marriages. If I treat them nicely, they are happy to be treated kindly, but it is expected. If I treat them badly, they know that either they have screwed up or maybe I am hormonal. But always, that I will get over it quickly and get back to treating them nicely.

No, it is not necessarily true. True love is unconditional love. What is a proud? Do you mean prude?

a PROUD or a PRUDE??? i think what ur trying to say is if you give him sex, then he'll say its love, but then he taunts you as a prude (a conservative no-sex girl) if u don't

in other words, he's just trying to get in ur pants

now what's the question???

Nope... Being in love with someone is a lot of things combined in one and being proud is one of them.

Is "nicely" referring to sex? No, I think i hear men refer to their wives as cold.
