Do you feel that laws are being made to cut individual freedom of living in the land of the free? Do you have to think twice before telling yourself, "Am I breaking the law"? by doing anything out in public areas for example.

Massively so.

Here's an experiment. Try getting in your car (if you have one) or on foot (otherwise) -- and try finding someplace public to just sit and read a book (several) for 24 hours -- try it, and see just how free people are to do something so non-intrusive as just sitting around.

Then think about those who have no home -- and how difficult it is for them to find someplace to sleep. We've become so regulated that it's a crime to just exist unless you have enough money to pay whatever fees the govt charges for the privilege of being alive on public property.

doing what for example?
Depends of what are you doing in public...
I say no freedom squeezed yet. Not from my own experience.
I think the best answer is try to go and live in another country and them evaluate the difference.
I personally live in the States because of the freedom that this country gives is like living in Heaven on Earth so far is a lot of freedom here.
I can go shop and feel very safe...I can go eat out and feel very safe too many things are very safe I can speak out about if I like the Goverment or anything and I won't get murder etc. You don't know how much freedom this country offer for what I see.
God blesss the USA and the rest of the whole World and the good people outhere.
