I fear that the answer to that will never be known, as our species(and perhaps all others of earth as well) will be extinct by then; perhaps that is the only way that nature can fight the problem.

The best way to answer your question is:
When does red tide come? - whenever it wants
When does it leave? - whenver it wants.
There is no prediction of when, when and how long red tide lingers. That is mother natures call.
