I'm in my junior year right now, and I go to a nationally ranked high school in Maryland. I have taken tough courses, and my weighted GPA is around 4.5. My first SAT score was about 2000, but I hope to improve on that. I should have about 250 community service hours by the time college applications go out, and I'm also involved in a variety of extracurricular activities. I am also a member of a Math, Technology, and Science Academy. Could I get into Johns Hopkins, UVA, or Georgetown? All of these are top 25 schools, bear in mind I am from the Maryland/DC area. I am also Iranian, if that diversity helps at all...

Yes, I think you have a good chance of being accepted at all of these, especially if your SAT improves (it also depends on your specific math score, since your choices suggest that this may be an area of importance to you. Being Iranian won't help, since that is not on any list of underrepresented groups (actually, they tend to be overrepresented in universities), but you don't seem to be in great need of affirmative action help anyway.

You would definitely be looked at, and there is a good chance one of those would accept you. That is good GPA and a higher than normal, but still not spectacular SAT score.

Yes, you have a very good chance of being accepted at these schools. Have a tough academic teacher write a recommendation for you.

I certainly don't see why you shouldn't be accepted into one of these. If you're not, ask the dean or director to provide you a good reason why. If there is no justifiable reason, then it may be because of your ethnicity/race, and then you may have to take it further.
