If I had children of grammar or even HS age, I would be totally AGAINST such a thing. But they are going to do this ANYWAY. Parents, if you think they won't you are deceived. Parents have LESS rights today.. The GOVERNMENT is in control when it comes to your children!

I have mixed feelings. I think that some children are smart enough and Christians and have been taught by their parents that sex is wrong until you are married.
On the other hand there are children that are going to do it regardless and if this protection is within their reach there will be less STD's and pregnancy's.
I hope they teach these CHILDREN that sex at a young age is not the end all ,be all steps to adulthood and it's morally wrong. But I'm asking for too much I suppose.

i think they should wait till the child is in high school. i still have mix reviews about the topic. I know i will talk to my son about sex education, however you have some kids parent who do not discuss the topic with their child they learn from friends, etc. When my son was in the 6th grade they gave the parent the option for their chld to view a film about the human body and reproductive organs, etc in health my son stated the kids were asking question, which i thought should have been already discussed by the parent.

Sad to say, but brain dead people in this country have decided that liberalism is the answer. Those same people would read the link you provided and proclaim that it was "awful." Then go vote for another liberal never having a clue as to the cost.

No... If my daughter were tempted to do something like that in grade school then she needs to be counseled not given the go ahead.

That is just wrong! If I was a parent (I'm in middle school right now and too young to be a parent) then I would be really mad!

Sounds like a good idea to me, I just don't know if there are any effects on a child when taking birth control pills at a young age.
The world's too over populated and something needs to be done about it.
