give the exact value of the expression without using a calculator.

a) csc^-1 (sec(π/3))

b) cot^-1 (-(3^(1-2)/3)

c) tan^-1 (-(3^(1-2)/3)

can anyone please help me solve these and show how to work them out.

To do a, ilet x be the number. csc(x) = sec (pi/3). Invert both sides, and you get sin(x) = cos (pi/3). And that you should be able to solve. :) (If you can't, you're going to have all sorts of trouble with trig ...)

In b and c I suspect you got some parentheses wrong or something else in the notation. Maybe you could re-ask them in a separate quesstion?
