The first 20 years took a century, the next 30 took 10 years. The bicentennial was 31 years ago? No way...

Yes,I remember sitting in Grade School and it seemed an eternity from 3:00 to 3:20. By the time I was in high school, not quite as anxious. In my teens I couldn't wait to get a drivers license. It seemed forever so on and so on.
Now I'm 54 and I wonder where the time went and goes. Why so swiftly? I sometimes wish it would slow down so I could enjoy the treasures of even everyday life. They say time marches on. I don't want to lead that march.

This applies only perhaps to those who think slower as they age. The Theory of Relativity thus goes into play here. Although time still passes normally, a person's concept of its passage is relative to how fast he thinks. The slower he thinks, the faster time flies -- and vice versa.
It just so happens that most older people think slower, but even if one is young, if he thinks slow then time would still fly by... for him/her.

That's exactly the way it goes! As they say, life is like a roll of toilet paper. The closer it gets to the end, the faster it goes! So true.

Im 135 years old and I do agree.
But its all relevant. The more active you are...the faster time seems to fly by.
I sit at home all day wondering what to do and by the time Ive decided.....the days gone by and its too late.
Maybe I should wake up before I go to sleep.

Yeah when I was 11 time went soooo slow. Now that I'm 18 everything is speeding up. I can't even imagine how fast it will go when I get older.

I think the busier you are the faster time goes by, so having less to do when you were young made it go by slower.
