I have 3 large hdds, but I just want to see one huge partition, is it possible?

Raid striping. Its not secure, though, and if one of them breaks down, you lost all of your data. But today's hard drives are so reliable, it doesn't matter. Raid striping is also called raid 0.

Google RAID controller. RAID stands for Redundant Array of Inexpensive Disks. It has it's limits, but it allows you to attach multiple hard drives and use them as one (RAID 0), mirror both drives [gives a speed increase] (RAID 1) and have some of the qualities of both [you need more disks though]

you would probably want RAID 0. Hardware RAID attaches to a PCI bus, and then you plus the drives into there.
