I do not think it is bad to wish for the death of somebody who harmed you.
I think it is like a defense mechanism, as long as he's alive, what he did to you (whatever that is is not of my business) is alive too and you hope that if he would die, and therefore disappear, then, some of your pain would go away, or at least you would get some relief or revenge, knowing he's not there anymore to think about it.
Wishing him dead does not mean killing him.
Wishing him dead may help you deal with your ordeal and memories.
I heard of another way to deal...forgiveness.
Because hatred really hurt you more than the cause of your hate.
I heard about people with faith forgiving the killer of their child, for example...I could never personnally do it because I do not have faith but if you do, you should try it because hatred will eat you inside.

It's not bad at all, I can't stand my sister and it's not even just sibling rivalry because she'll go out of her way to annoy me and all of my friends hate her too because of the way she treats them even when I'm not around so hating your cousin isn't too big of a deal and death definitely isn't too harsh to wish.

Don't let anyone live in your head rent-free. Something [e.g., time] will happen to change both you and your cousin such that your current feeling will change (either his behavior-as I assume it to be the case or your focus on him).

That's just wrong. There is people I don't like but I never wish they were dead! I believe in Carma, what goes around comes around.
