Did you see that movie "Invincible"?

Question

When I saw the main character's girlfriend in there at the beginning and and the part when she left and she wrote him that note about never amounting to anything, one thing I hated about the movie was that it never showed her again AFTER he did amount to something, after he made that winning play and touchdown at the end of the movie.

Since it was a true story, does anybody know if his ex-girlfriend did come across him and have anything to say when he DID make it?

I wanted to see that. I would like to know what she was thinking after he proved her wrong.

i saw that movie it was great! but that would have been great if they did show her face when she found out that he made it big!!

Didn't see the movie, but I had this girlfriend that I was crazy about. I was only about 13 but she dumped me because I wasn't what she wanted, which was Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, Randy Rhodes, you know, a rock star. Broken hearted, I set out to win her back by buying a bass (I thought it was a guitar, but that would just make the story longer) and getting into a band. At 16 I was in a working band and she ran into me in a club we were playing. It was the 80's and I had the look AND my pick of "hot chicks". She wanted me back but I had moved on. Her loss? I don't know, but the fact that she wanted me back after all those years because I was in a (local) band still puzzles me to this day.

To answer your question, I think that girlfriend in the movie was just to give motivation to the main charactor.

I did see the movie, I don't know if he ever ran across his ex. I believe they were married? That was a pretty good movie.

It was an average movie, nothing to gloat about but good.
