Should I go to Columbia University or New York University?

I was accepted into both. I want to study liberal arts - not sure what I want to major in, though. Any advice? Also - I've never been to New York.

Congratulations! They are both wonderful schools! The problem is that each is particularly strong in some subject matters, so if you don't know what you will be majoring in, it is hard to pick. Columbia is Ivy, but NYU is in a nicer part of the city, if that helps.

Probably Columbia University. They are both good schools, but that one is much higher ranked.

Columbia because it is has more prestige
