Golf cart batteries are 6V and should be available at any battery store, Interstate, Sears etc. Napa can tell you what spark plugs.

Well, you could always go to a batter specialist store, you'll find them in about every semi-major city. Or just do it the cheap and dangerous way. Drill a hole in the middle of the batter on top and screw in a stud to touch the top of the divider dead center of the battery. Since each cell provides 2.1 volts, tapping the center will give you 6.3 volts, the average 6 volt battery voltage.
I DO NOT suggest tapping, just an interesting thing I had heard of someone doing once.

Go to any good local auto parts store. They should be able to provide a battery and the spark plugs you need.
