Can anyone briefly describe Brighton?

i live nearby, and love brighton. they have brilliant unique shops (in the laines and the north laine) as well as a thriving shopping centre. there's a pebble beach and pier with all the usual british holiday resort things, an award winning library, and a great selection of clubs and pubs, as well as a designated comedy venue (komedia). it's been nicknamed 'london on sea' which is apt - it's a great place to live and visit

Went there about 10 years ago and loved the cute shopping areas and artsy places. Did not like the overall vibe though...despite living in London, for some reason I felt less safe here at night. Great architecture though and as I said, a fun place to visit for shopping and hanging out at the beach.

Brighton is a lovely lively place targeted to those party people especially for hen and stag nights and weekends it's a great place i love it there
