Omg! Yes! We always used a laundry basket or blanket or sleeping bag though. We did it down the stairs in our old house and did it in this house, too. We'd slide down the stairs and hit the wall and we'd always leave the game with carpet burn. Haha

No one in my family ever had stairs, but we did put shampoo on the bathroom floor and slip and slide on it.

We could have Old Docs problem as well, if the door at the bottom was closed. bump bump bump 15 times and spat, either that or we went flying outside.

I also remember the bruises I got when I hit the bottom but it was still great fun.

At my house, we had a wall about three fee from the staircase. I slid down once...once.

We had that at our house - I enjoyed sliding down the banister!!!!!!!!!!!!!
