For me the first time I heard Michael Jackson was when I was around 3 or 4 and my parents bought the vhs of Free Willy, and Will You Be There's music video was at the beginning of the movie. I loved that song, I would always sing it when I was little and try to dance like him in the video.

I was 10 or 12 in the 50's and Elvis sang "Hound Dog","Don't Be Cruel", and "Jail House Rock". He became an absolute sensation all over the planet, literally.
Gogi Grant sang "Wayward Wind", I fell in love with her immediately while going to Florida Gulf Beaches. The beaches all had Pavillions with soda fountains and juke boxes. Summers were one big party. Girls wore bikinis and the guys were humbled.

My first fav music artist was Shaggy. Heard him first when i was in 6 th grade. The song was "It wasn't me". My parents never let me watch the music video though bcoz it was a lil too sexy!! lol but i still love the song!!

First time I heard them it was back in Eighth grade. Godsmack and the song was I Stand Alone. I like the song when I first heard it.

my fav artist is MJ and i first heard to him at http://music.download.com ... i'm kinda late with music cos initially i used to say how the hell is it possible to stuff while listening to music? but now i say how the hell is it possible to do stuff while NOT listening to music...
so i've kinda "converted" from anti-music...and the first song was Billie Jean...and yes i liked it from the very first second.. and i still do...
btw i'm still 14 and none in my house listen to music...
