I wouldn't alert the media but I'd want to get all of the visitation that I possibly could with him so that I could write a book about him and the "family." I think that he's a complete whack job who should be locked away but I honestly don't understand how they convicted him of the Tate-Labianca murders as he didn't kill any of them and the stories as to whether or not he gave the orders are varied and contradictory. Many people say it was all Charles "Tex" Watson, others say it was Susan Atkins , who wanted to do a copy cat murder of the Gary Hinman murder so that Bobby Beausoliel ( a member of the "family" who was convicted for that murder) would be freed from prison. I tend to believe THAT version as Susan Atkins also took place in the Hinman murder so she'd have known what to do. If Chuck were my dad, I bet all of them would grant me visitation and I could write the definitive book about Charles Manson and the family. Then I could retire, oh I'm already retired. Well my whole family could retire,LOL!!!!!!

So kidding aside, I'd like to have a famous person as a father or grandfather but Manson would be kinda where I would draw the line...unless I need money and I think the alerting the media would get me some, or at least a book deal.

I would not tell anyone because the police might watch you very closely and won't leave you alone. Since you would be related to the person in jail then the police would think you guys have the same mind and everything.

thats a very good question... since i did a project on charles manson in HS... i would probably keep the info to myself because i wouldnt want anyone to know i was that closely related to a murdering psycopath!!!
