That sounds like a 1960s "artist" on Tower (a Capitol Records subdivision) called Mrs. Miller,who was known for banging on a way out of tune piano and "singing" the Top 40 hits of the day. As impossible as it seems,she released three LPs before the Capitol brass realized the grave mistake they made.
Incredibly,her albums are now on CD from Collectors' Choice Music.

sorry but, when you say: "cannot sing"...britney spears comes directly to mind...but of course it couldn't be her.
