My dad said if you take a cold shower and jump in a pool that is cold, it'll be warm. Does that work?

Yes, it's because your body temperature acclimatises with the water in the pool, after the cold shower. However, it's true that the shower temperature should be colder than that of the pool.

yes, if the temperature of the shower is less than that of the pool water and you jump in immediately afterward. try it!

I wouldn't say warmer, it would feel warmer if the temperature of the shower was colder than that of the pool and you would notice that.:)

yea. same with a jacuzzi, if you sit in one then go in the pool, the pool is freezing
