D only reliable & sensible head in Indian Cricket Team ; why he is been sidelined ?

He is still d BEST captain any team can have .It's not dat he was kicked out of Captaincy! It's just dat he wants 2 contribute 2 d team. So he is trying 2 improve his batting style! And he has been sidelined only for one match!
I am pretty sure he will bcum the greatest player in d team!
He already is!

Dravid's days are gone. He was a successful captain, but now he himself agrees he faces a lot of hurdles being a captain, so much that he is losing his concentration in batting. Dravid has himself opted out. Good for him and the team. The team too needs to find a new captain after Dravid quits playing. Now the strength of Indian Cricket team lies in the hands of the young players, who again proved successful in today's T20 match vs AUS. I feel Dhoni has a positive frame of mind, he can continue his captaincy for a while. If he succeeds, we can be next world cup champions under his captaincy. Dhoni looks calm, but when he comes to the field he is quite aggressive. And other team members ll learn from him to keep up the never-say-die attitude.

Rahul Dravid resigned from captaincy on his own. He was sidlined in the last ODI match against Australia as his performance in batting was below par in the previous games.

Dravid was never a good captain. Its because he is a good guy. Gentle guy like him can never become a good captain. One needs to be cunning & shroud to be a succesful captain.
Ricky Ponting is a goood example.

rahul coulndnt handle the immense pressure of an indian captain..he doesnt have the killer instinct and agressiveness of a real captain like sourav....but hes a gentle and nice guy and a gud player too...vengsarkar doesnt like Rahul...

he is getting old also if you have seen a few of his recent outings he hasnt playing up to the level of play of his years of glory, dravid was good but his time unfortunately is up

in gangulys captaincy-india reaches finals but looses finals
in dravids captaincy-india dont even reach semi finals
in dhonis captaincy--india reaches finals and also wins it
