Maybe this will help you to put this in perspective.

Sometime when you have nothing better to do, sit down with your computer's word processor, and just make up a scary chain mail letter yourself. Put in all the threats that you think would make it sound convincing.

Now, imagine sending this to people (JUST imagine it...I'm not suggesting you actually do it!). What would be your reaction if you found out that the people receiving it got really scared by what you wrote? Wouldn't you think it was all a little silly....after all, you don't have any magic powers. You're just an ordinary person who was goofing around on your computer. Well guess what? That's true of everyone who started those other letters as well!

just to help positioned you on an identical website -- :-D Chain *mail* is a sort of medieval armor. this is produced from little twine rings interlinked and riveted at the same time. Chain *letters* are letters or e mail postings that inform you which you *could* forward the letter directly to a minimum of X a lot of human beings (often interior a time decrease, like interior 3 days) or something poor will take place to you or somebody you care approximately. None of them are actual. all of them, btw, are unlawful, regardless of the shown fact that those regulations are virtually impossible to enforce. So, why are you scared? And do you have faith in the different superstitions? 'Cuz superstition (or outright pranks) are varied those letters are. somebody made up one and all, and individuals make up new ones daily, purely for exciting, or to ridicule the recipients who fall for the threats. the only time everyone could rather be petrified of those letters is that in the event that they think of the letters are being sent by making use of a bully (or team of bullies) or a stalker. if so, they alter right into a police be counted, breaking regulations that the police *can* enforce.

Chain letters are simply pointless and annoying spam - treat them as the garbage they are... There is nothing to be gained by passing it on. There is no real threat if you ignore them. It is just someone playing a prank, being a jerk or otherwise trying to manipulate you for the sake of some stupid agenda of their own.
Don't let them freak you out because that is playing their game, and that's all it is a GAME. The best way to free yourself from this kind of shallow pointless crap is simply to delete it - or chuck it in the trash. If you want to track down the idiot that sent the letter to you and tell them off, that can be satisfying as well but the best decision is simply to disregard it - you don't freak out over stupid advertisements on television or in magazines so don't take this junk any more seriously than you would that stuff ok?

No, it's not true! I've had this stupid chain mail all through my teenage years. I just shout at the people who send it to me, sometimes read it, sometimes don't, but I never ever respond, unless it's something really cute and nothing threatening. Nothing to do with that has ever come true to me. Just be careful with this stuff it could progress into OCD- obsessive compulsive disorder, I experienced this mildly when my Dad was dieing. I thought that if I didn't touch something so many times he would die. It's kind of like the chain mail; if you don't send it you will have bad luck blahh bla bla... RUBBISH! Next time you get one, purposely ignore it, then go nanickynana it never came true!

Be brave. I dare you!

Good luck, and rest assure it means nothing, Princess Lola x

Ok, calm down, I am 13, as well, and I understand. I get scary chain mail too and I start seeing things and get freaked out but, it isn't true. Dumb people make up that stuff to scare people. You just see things and get freaked out because that's just what happens. Same with me.Just ignore the dumb mail, ok?If you get another one just tell me and maybe I'll check it out and try to help you again.

I ignore it, delete it and say Adios! I'm still alive, my family is all fine, and my house hasn't fallen down around my head yet.

Chain mail is the most annoying thing to come along since Banquet TV dinners. It's a bunch of hooey. Just delete it like I do.

Calm down hun..I am 55 and have been getting them since before computers and only didn't break the nice ones and nothing has happened to me or any one in my family. They are just another urban story someone started years ago to put fear into people. You will be fine...just don't believe everything you read..ok?

Not even within a billion mile radius of true in fact if it were any more true it'd be a blatant lie. It's bogus, spurlious, ludicrous and it's worth f***all.

www.snopes.com keeps a record of lots of bogus e-mails and internet stories and urban legends. Check it out.

Oh good grief; it's just a stupid letter. Rip it up and burn it, throw it away, whatever. Superstition is for the weak-minded.
