I've got my flu shot today. I don't think this has anything to do with the flu shot but I've already been throught my miscarriage so this has nothing to do with it. I've been having lots and lots of severe cramps but I have a pulsating feeling in the side of my abdomen. I can feel it pumping up and down. If I press down hard enough, I can feel 4 pounds in a row and then it stops. And then it starts again. What is this pounding and pulsating sensation in the side of my abdomen? Should I be worried?

could be spasms. I wouldn't worry unless it continues for an extended length of time.

The flu shot can give you flu like symptoms. Are you allergic to eggs? Flu vac is incubated in eggs.

If you can't stop worrying call your dr.s office. Most of them have an answering service in case of emergencies..either his nurse or the doctor will call you back and tell you what to do...or help keep your mind at ease.

Phone a medical helpline, I've done that before and they can be really good. If there's a problem they can send for an ambulance or they can just tell you what to do about it.

It sounds to me like you may have a lower-digestive upset and you're feeling peristalsis or even your pulse in your descending colon.

I like the medical helpline call idea.

Should I be worried? YES !!! , Go to see your doctor right away and if they can not get you in for an appointment tell the
receptionist that it is very inportant and you want to see your family doctor. Please go to your doctor now. Let me know how it went.
