Ok I have been taking Yaz, the last pill I took was on Wednesday and I still haven't gotten my period. My question is if I haven't gotten it by tomorrow should I start taking my pills tomorrow or not? Im confused b/c Yaz has more pills so your period will be shorter which mine was already short but now it is taking forever for my period to come.

Girl... I take a pregnancy test once a month because I'm so paraniod.. by the time I'm on my last period pill my period STILL hasn't come.. and then out of no where that night I start to spot and then I get a light period for a day and then on my active pills I spot for a day.. It's nice.. but I don't like to think I'm pregnant all the time! haha but just take them everyday no matter what.. Skipping around and taking weird doses will def mess up for your cycle.

(My periods would either never come or would stay for like 2 weeks with servere cramping and a really heavy flow.)

Ok I just started taking Yaz and I had to take 3 white pills before I finally started. I read that it takes your body to realize that you are not getting the same hormones as the pink pills have. And you still need to start taking your next pack of pills even if your period does not come. It may take up to 3 months of taking the pill for your system to get regulated because it is not used to being changed with hormone pills. Also my period was only 3 days long before I even started the pill and Im not sure how long it will be with Yaz considering I just started yesterday and still have one white pill to take today. You should take a pill everyday no matter what. Dont stop taking them, otherwise you MUST use another form of protection. Hope this helps.

Take the pills as prescribed... one pill per day at the same time each day, whether your period has come or not.

It can take some time for your period to regulate with the pills.

If you have any concerns consult with your doctor.
