I just had my wonderful little bundle of joy on the 17th and he got circumsized. I was wondering if there was any medicine I could adminster to him to help ease the pain. Thank you for all your help!

I don't see why it's ok to have an epidural or pain medication while giving birth, but it isn't ok to give a little infant tylenol after surgery? I have always given my daughter infant tylenol for teething and fevers. She is a very healthy 15 month old.Everything in moderation. You do have to ask your doctor about proper dosage though.

only infants tylenol. nothing else. I never gave son anything just kept plenty of jelly on it like the doctor said Good luck!

You should call the Dr and ask. He will be able to prescribe some if it is necessary.

you should not give any medicine to a child that age unless instructed by a dr.

call your doctor don't listen to people here because we don't know how much your son weighs or anything else about him.

He doesnt need any after the first or second day. The skin that is removed is not highly sensitive. As long as you keep the ointment on it to protect it and soothe it he doesnt need anything else.
