Great performance.Villa tried but United were simply too good.It was nice to see Giggs celebrate his new contract with a goal.

Firstly congrats to Villa for not giving up and playing to the end. They kept trying. I think we (United) were playing well today. After a bit of a slow start, the rhythm and passing came together, the positioning has improved and we were on the way to a great win before Villa got those red cards. I think it ruined the game a bit. I would have liked to have seen United have a good 90 minute full on hit out, instead I think they took the foot off the pedal for whatever reason. Great to see Wazza getting his form and confidence back. Rushed the penalty kick and unlucky with one hitting the crossbar. Good performance from the Red Devils. Keep it up boys.

I couldn't see the game but I watched the highlights.
We played very well. Arsenal play lesser football but always proclaim themselves to be the best footballing team in the history of the world, ever!
My 4rse.
I'm gutted that Rooney didn't get his hat-trick - especially as he's in my dream team!, but at the end of the day, we beat the team that embarrassed Chelsea 2 - 0, and we did it convincingly.
I look forward to seeing how Liverpool and Arsenal fare at Villa Park this season. Villa under O' Neill do not lie down for anyone.
It is great to see we are finally playing the way we know we should be.

MAN UTD FOR THE TREBLE! we have an amazing squard at old traffold with world class player and the football we are playing at the moment is just seperb! with rooney,ronaldo,tevez,nani etc all on form NO ONE will stop us winning the treble. iv got the 1999 feeling

Villa were ultimately overwhelmed by us. However, it took us the best part of 1/2 hour to get on top. Villa did deserve to take the lead. Now let's keep going and put those Gooners and scousers in their place!

yeh ok use had a good game,everyone dose. thats was man utd playing at there best today i ahve to say i seen the game. but when you face Arsenal it will be diffrent becouse they play better football than united(my opinion).

rooney should have converted that penalty to claim his hat trick
anyway overall its a job well done
