my homework wants me to graph a logarithm..but how do you graph those it's got a number that is sub like log2(x+2) but the 2 after the log is below if you know what i mean how do you input that??

Your best bet is to use the change of base formula. Normally, I write the subscript using an underscore, so I would write your specific example as log_2(x + 2). But if you use the change of base formula, you can rewrite this as log_c(x + 2) / log_c(2), where c can be any positive real number you like. Logically, we should choose c = e, Euler's number, because then log_c = ln, the natural logarithm, and we can rewrite log_2(x + 2) as ln(x + 2) / ln(2). You should have a button for ln on your calculator, so now you have a function you can easily input.

yes, you obviously need batteries. it has to be on while you transfer the games onto it.
