I love Yes, but I really don't think Owner of a Lonely Heart is even close to the brilliance of their other work, but it's their most famous song.

Examples?

Yeah, Owner of a Lonely Heart is awful (I always sing "Owner of a Dodge Dart (your lights are on)")

Can't stand Satisfaction by the Stones
& speaking of Fleetwood Mac, never in the world understood how Dreams ever became a hit
& how about Aerosmith's Walk This Way? (it's just about the lamest song off that album)

interior the Aeroplane Over the sea by making use of impartial Milk lodge. this is purely a sort of songs it is so thoroughly ideal, and encompasses each and everything the band is approximately, showing what they might do with their gadgets at the same time as protecting the concentration on Jeff's guitar and voice. I rather have varied well-known songs by making use of them, it adjustments daily, yet I constantly bypass back to this one. additionally, it exchange into the 1st music of theirs I ever heard, which i think of could make a distinction. BQ: Gardenhead from On Avery Island. i admire Avery Island, yet y'see, there have been not many albums to decide from.

Panic! At The Disco's most famous song is I Write Sins Not Tragedies, right? I prefer any of their other songs than I Write Sins Not Tragedies. Same with Fall Out Boy. Their most popular song is Thnks Fr Th Mmrs. I love both bands, but both of those songs have been so overplayed that I don't like those particular songs anymore.

I can't stand The Beatles 'Strawberry Fields' or 'Penny Lane'
but every time I say that people have a go at me!

I like Queen, but 'Bohemian Rhapsody' is my least favourite.
I usually skip over it.

Led Zeppelin {love them :) } ~ Kashmir never really did it for me *but*, I love the 1994 Page & Plant version.

And I have to agree with Darth Maul about The Who's 'Pinball Wizard'.

Edit :~

Cat Stevens ~ have you heard the album or single version of Rhiannon? The single version has extra guitar work that makes it sound more like Peter Green's 'Dragonfly'.

Chasing Cars - by Snow Patrol.

In a sense, I wish they had never written (or at least never released this song). After the success of this song, which pales in comparison to a lot of their songs, they became pretty popular. I know it probably seems a bit snobbish, but I sort of like it when bands I like stay just under most peoples radars.

Holly Hell, The Plain White T's, shoot me before I listen to Hey There Delilah.
The Guess Who, American Woman? How bout not.
Rush-Tom Sawyer, how bout YYZ instead.
So So So many. The populars get too overplayed.

Werewolves of London is Warren Zevon's most recognizable song...it's also his worst. I prefer My Rides Here or Carmelita or My Sh*ts F*cked Up (actual song, if you didn't know...I'm not just cursing, lol) or anything to it.

Bang A Gong (Get It On) is probably the most famous T. Rex song. I prefer Rabbit Fighter or Broken Hearted Blues...

I think this is the case for many artists.
